This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Actively pursue and recognize necessary system improvements.
• Serve as the primary contact for business stakeholders concerning project and enhancement prioritization, coordination, and escalation.
• Evaluate current business processes and system configurations to identify deficiencies.
• Collect and document business requirements from end users while aiding in the prioritization process.
• Assess best practices and gather insights about the feature roadmap from vendors.
• Create solutions aimed at enhancing processes and user experience.
• Deliver proposed solutions to business stakeholders through formal design documentation, flowcharts, and illustrative use case scenarios.
• Provide developers with clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure that customizations align with business stakeholder needs.
• Ensure that system modifications comply with change control processes and compliance policies.
• Recognize situations where the optimal solution may not involve a change in system design.
• Plan, execute, and document testing phases as required.
• Assist with monthly release management.
• Inform a wider user audience about system changes in advance, ensuring they comprehend the adjustment and how to utilize it prior to implementation.
• Create documentation to facilitate end-user training and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Address Level 2 support tickets as assigned and within established service level objectives.
• Elevate issues to vendor technical support when appropriate.
• Respond to user inquiries and direct them to training resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Sales/Sales Operations, Support, or Federal stakeholders.
• Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant certification.
• Proven experience in developing business requirements documentation, user stories, and user acceptance test scripts.
• Subject matter expertise in collaborating with Sales and/or Sales Operations teams, with a solid understanding of demand generation, pipeline management, forecasting, and/or quote-to-cash processes.
• Experience using diagramming tools to create process flow charts and user experience mock-ups (LucidChart, Visio, Omnigraffle).
• Competence with G-Suite or MS Office (including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations).
• Familiarity with Agile project management and development lifecycle methodologies.
• Capability to adjust and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Ability to operate professionally and effectively.
