Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Large Forged Parts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure quality standards for designated suppliers, including the execution of quality plans.

• Identify and select suppliers through rigorous qualification processes.

• Take ownership of supplier performance, implementing improvements via supplier scorecards.

• Conduct supplier audits to guarantee compliance and initiate improvement plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Sourcing departments to approve and qualify suppliers.

• Manage supplier assessments and the qualification results for parts and processes.

• Lead continuous supplier audits and monitoring to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Work in full alignment and close partnership with internal teams, including sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Project management skills.

• Expertise in commodities such as materials, forging, and non-destructive examination including ultrasonic.

• Significant and proven experience in Sourcing, Engineering, or Manufacturing.

• Substantial and demonstrated experience in Supplier Quality or a related field.

• Fluency in English.

• Willingness to travel as needed, up to 50% of the time, to support strategy and assist in problem-solving at supplier locations.
