Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Ensure quality standards for designated suppliers, including the implementation of quality plans.

• Identify and select suppliers through thorough qualification processes.

• Take ownership of supplier performance, driving enhancements using supplier scorecards.

• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance and initiate improvement plans when necessary.

• Analyze basic internal and external business challenges and propose best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.

• Oversee supplier development, providing guidance to key suppliers in achieving quality assurance.

• Assist suppliers in attaining optimal quality and adhering to industry standards of excellence in generators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent qualification.

• Extensive experience in Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• Strong technical understanding of generators and quality assurance.

• Proficient knowledge in Quality/Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis, Qualification, Commodity Assessment, and Non-Conformance.

• Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in German is an advantage.

• Willingness and capability to travel more than 40% of the time.
