QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage both manual and automated test cases derived from business and technical specifications.

• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing specifically within HR and Payroll modules.

• Develop and enhance automated tests utilizing Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).

• Create end-to-end, component, and API testing scenarios.

• Work in collaboration with Product Owners, Analysts, Designers, and Developers to guarantee thorough test coverage.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects in Azure DevOps, and validate the fixes that have been implemented.

• Prepare and maintain both test data and test environments.

• Create and revise test plans, test reports, and quality assurance documentation.

• Engage in requirements reviews and analyze the impact of testing.

• Assist with release activities and quality assurance procedures throughout the product lifecycle.

• Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in software testing (both manual and automated).

• Experience in testing business applications, ideally HR, Payroll, or ERP systems.

• Strong grasp of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with creating and maintaining test cases and associated documentation.

• Basic knowledge of Playwright or a willingness to develop automation skills with the framework.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python adequate for creating and maintaining automated test scripts.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, TestRail).

• Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English at B2 level.

• Proficiency in Polish at B2 level.
