This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Poland Policy and Narrative Support: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of national policies impacting the Built Environment (including EPC standards, mandates for heat pumps, and social housing retrofits), ensuring that Polish communications are both technically sound and politically pertinent.
• Political and Media Monitoring: Observe high-level political and media discussions throughout Poland to identify emerging trends, ensuring that the Hub’s Poland strategy remains proactive and adaptable to changes in public sentiment.
• Partner Ecosystem Mobilisation: Identify and engage with a diverse range of Polish partners, including localized groups such as city networks and trade unions, as well as high-level lawmakers, finance sector leaders, and broad coalitions of civil society to enhance their collective impact.
• Spokesperson Development: Identify and promote new voices that can effectively communicate about the built environment sector in Poland, building communication capacity from the grassroots level to diversify and enrich the national narrative.
• National Strategic Delivery: Assist the Europe Manager and Director in executing the Poland strategy, ensuring it is grounded in evidence, realistic, and results in measurable changes in the public narrative.
• Content and Narrative Development: Spearhead the creation of Poland-specific communications by implementing multi-channel strategies. You will produce a variety of materials, including press releases, social media content, and blogs, to transform complex building data into compelling narratives about health, affordability, and comfort.
• Collaborative Implementation: Oversee the local execution of global milestones as required by the team.
• Cross-Border Campaign Alignment: Work closely with colleagues in Brussels to co-design and implement strategic campaigns, ensuring that Polish national initiatives are well-integrated with broader European goals and advocacy efforts.
• Reporting and Impact: Evaluate the effects and results of your work, clearly communicating Poland-specific progress to partners and the wider network.
• Significant professional experience in strategic communications, with a proven history in media relations and/or digital campaigns within the Polish market.
• A thorough understanding of the Polish policy-making process and the distinct dynamics of the national housing and energy discourse.
• An established network of influential figures across Poland, including journalists, lawmakers, civil society leaders, and progressive business representatives.
• Extensive knowledge of the Polish media landscape and a record of securing strategic story placements in national and trade media.
• Proficiency in both English and Polish, with outstanding skills in producing engaging and impactful communication materials.
• The capability to work effectively with minimal supervision while thriving as part of a high-trust, international team.
