This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the data center sector.
• Oversee the entire sales process from initial prospecting to finalizing deals.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at hyperscale and colocation providers.
• Present and showcase Johnson Controls’ fire solutions and systems effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product Management, Engineering, Operations) to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.
• Draft proposals, address RFPs, and negotiate contracts.
• Meet or exceed designated sales targets and KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years of sales experience, ideally in fire solutions or technology.
• Strong knowledge of data center operations and fire protection standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage intricate sales cycles and negotiate with senior-level executives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
