• Oversee external loan staff resources in the preparation, review, and submission of state tax returns.
• Ensure that accurate and timely information is provided in response to all government notices and audits.
• Evaluate components of various quarterly and annual financial statement tax calculations.
• Analyze and convey variance analysis to management.
• Utilize essential software tools (OneSource, Hyperion, SAP, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with external and internal auditors as well as the financial accounting department.
• Prepare quarterly and annual workpapers and conduct tax accounting analysis.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with federal and state corporate income tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities.
• Project management skills.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in tax research software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPA license or successful completion of the CPA examination is preferred.
• Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English is mandatory.
