This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define comprehensive full stack architectures for large-scale systems.
• Propel their adoption across various teams.
• Consistently write high-quality production code.
• Develop proofs of concept and take ownership of zero to one projects from start to finish.
• Contribute rapidly across multiple teams and domains.
• Address business-critical technical challenges with significant ambiguity.
• Utilize machine learning to enhance product value.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to align engineering roadmaps with company strategy.
• Elevate engineering best practices and operational health.
• Mentor senior engineers to cultivate them into technical leaders.
• Over 10 years of experience building production systems at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to write exceptional code.
• Proven history of managing zero to one products or systems from inception to completion.
• Extensive full stack expertise covering UIs, APIs, backend services, and data infrastructure.
• More than 5 years of experience leading system design and architecture across teams.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (React, NodeJS) as well as Go.
• Significant experience with Python, particularly in ML and data-related tasks.
• Strong grasp of web development fundamentals and excellent instincts for API design.
• Experience with machine learning and deploying ML systems in Python.
• Ability to function effectively in high ambiguity and align diverse stakeholders.
• Experience ensuring reliability across teams with defined SLOs.
• Extensive experience with relational databases, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Proven track record of developing senior engineers into leaders and effectively communicating with executives.
