Senior Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical delivery by converting high-level product roadmaps into executable development cycles.

• Architect and develop high-concurrency backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django).

• Design and create "Agent-Ready" APIs utilizing Pydantic.

• Construct and sustain secure, scalable integration layers (OAuth2, Webhooks).

• Implement advanced error handling within API responses.

• Actively leverage autonomous coding agents to plan, generate, and test backend code.

• Take ownership of the implementation of secure authorization protocols (JWT, OpenID Connect).

• Monitor and enhance API latency and database query performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django).

• Strong knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (Angular/Typescript).

• In-depth expertise in RESTful API design.

• Solid SQL skills (PostgreSQL/MS SQL).

• Experience with OAuth2/JWT for secure service-to-service communication.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).

• Proven ability to use coding agents to accelerate the software development life cycle (SDLC).
