Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate both independently and as part of a team to create and implement solutions, while also reviewing and providing constructive feedback on work completed by fellow engineers for our software and services hosted on cloud production infrastructure.

• Influence the development and deployment of our essential enterprise software solutions through the use of optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines that guarantee high-quality products.

• Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure and security technologies within the cloud, ensuring resilience, observability, and cost optimization.

• Communicate proactively and effectively with various audiences within the organization. Share your experiences, knowledge, and expertise with others to foster their growth and development.

• Engage in work planning and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct technology evaluations and make selections.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain the cloud solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.

• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms.

• Proficient in programming with Go.

• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.

• Knowledge of orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.

• Expertise in defining and implementing automated service deployments, including considerations for networking, security, reliability, management, reporting, and configuration management.

• Comprehensive understanding of best practices for deployment automation.

• Experience using Git in a collaborative team environment (pull requests, branching, pushing, and pulling).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
