Senior DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Foster a robust DevOps and DevSecOps culture across engineering teams.

• Design, develop, and sustain secure, scalable, and dependable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms.

• Oversee and maintain AWS environments, Linux-based systems, and global device platforms.

• Integrate security measures, automation, and compliance protocols into engineering workflows.

• Spearhead vulnerability management, security remediation, and initiatives for enhancing cloud security.

• Monitor the health, performance, and security of platforms, effectively responding to incidents and operational events.

• Investigate, recommend, and execute improvements in platform, security, and operations.

• Offer technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and development squads.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Application teams to achieve business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps positions.

• Profound understanding of AWS, Linux administration, and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation tools.

• Strong grasp of cloud security, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies and distributed systems.

• Proficient in scripting and automation using Bash and Python.

• Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident management methodologies.

• Capability to mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
