Senior Staff Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the automation of infrastructure for configuration management involving over 2,000 virtual machines and more than 600 on-premises servers.

• Collaborate with international teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions to establish standards in security, networking, and platforms.

• Apply GitOps methodologies for deployment processes and management of configuration drift.

• Foster and maintain robust relationships with internal clients and product stakeholders.

• Coordinate with technical project managers and product management teams to outline and strategize multiple projects.

• Engage in on-call rotations with well-defined processes and support mechanisms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale on-premises Linux server infrastructure using configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible.

• Significant experience with Proxmox and/or VMware platforms.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes.

• Background in working with distributed systems.

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems.

• Experience in virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., QEMU, KVM, LXC, Docker).

• Desirable experience in networking and routing.

• Knowledge of secrets management processes and tools, such as HashiCorp Vault.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
