Senior Staff Engineer, Gen AI – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement autonomous AI agents that can reason, plan, and execute intricate business workflows.

• Construct and orchestrate agent-based solutions utilizing LangChain, LangGraph, and contemporary AI agent frameworks.

• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java and Python.

• Connect AI agents with enterprise systems, databases, third-party APIs, and SaaS platforms.

• Design and execute advanced prompt engineering, memory architectures, and tool-use functionalities.

• Deploy, monitor, and enhance AI agents in production settings for optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop evaluation frameworks, testing strategies, logging systems, and feedback mechanisms to consistently refine agent behavior.

• Create cloud-native AI architectures that leverage Azure AI and Machine Learning services.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI capabilities into essential business applications.

• Diagnose complex technical challenges across AI, application, integration, and cloud environments.

• Provide technical guidance, conduct architecture assessments, and mentor engineering teams.

• Remain updated on emerging AI technologies, advancements in LLMs, agent frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Ensure the successful implementation of AI solutions that align with business, scalability, security, and operational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Total experience: 7.5 + years.

• Strong practical expertise in Java and Python development within enterprise production settings.

• Demonstrated experience in building AI-driven applications, autonomous agents, and intelligent workflow automation solutions.

• Profound experience with Microsoft Azure AI and Machine Learning services.

• Hands-on experience with LLM application frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent orchestration platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of API development, microservices, and system integration patterns.

• Experience in integrating AI solutions with APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications.

• Comprehensive understanding of prompt engineering, memory management, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tool-calling architectures.

• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications on Azure.

• Strong software engineering principles, including system design, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership abilities.

• Experience in deploying and supporting AI solutions in production environments.
