Senior Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Functional – Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert and champion for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV solutions, ensuring current knowledge of product features and functionalities.

• Engage directly with clients to comprehend their business goals, establish project scope, and gather functional requirements.

• Perform requirements analysis, conduct business process assessments, and facilitate process re-engineering workshops.

• Associate business requirements with standard Dynamics 365 Business Central functionalities while pinpointing configuration, customization, and integration necessities.

• Develop detailed functional solutions that align with client business processes and adhere to industry best practices.

• Offer functional expertise in the Finance and Supply Chain modules of Dynamics NAV/Business Central.

• Take ownership of the solution framework design and guarantee successful project delivery throughout its lifecycle.

• Create project documentation, which includes requirement documents, functional specifications, solution designs, and user manuals.

• Assist with system configuration, data migration tasks, testing, and deployment processes.

• Conduct user training sessions on both standard and customized Business Central functionalities.

• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.

• Provide regular project status updates, address risks/issues, and communicate effectively at various organizational levels.

• Support global implementations and work collaboratively with onshore, offshore, and third-party implementation teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of total experience.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, integrations, and support.

• Strong functional knowledge of the Finance and Supply Chain modules within Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering at least 2 full project lifecycle implementations as a Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.

• Extensive experience in client-facing consulting roles with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Solid understanding of business processes and the capability to convert business requirements into Dynamics 365 Business Central configurations.

• Experience with system setup, configuration, data migration, and integration features in Dynamics NAV/Business Central.

• Ability to assess and leverage the latest functional features of Dynamics 365 Business Central to provide optimized solutions.

• Strong skills in requirements analysis and problem-solving, with the capacity to design effective business solutions.

• Experience collaborating with both onshore/offshore teams and third-party implementation partners.

• Preference for candidates with global implementation experience.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel as per project requirements.

• Preferred candidates will hold Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification.
