Senior Staff Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and architecture of intricate, large-scale cloud services that serve as the foundation of our multi-cloud and hybrid data management platform.

• Create and deploy core components, addressing challenges in areas such as data governance, security, and distributed systems.

• Propel technical innovation by prototyping and assessing new technologies and cloud-native solutions to address intricate customer challenges.

• Mentor and support fellow engineers, nurturing a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Work alongside product managers and other engineering teams to devise solutions and architectures that deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• MSc/BSc degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in large-scale distributed projects.

• Strong expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with a focus on security, infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and service enablement.

• Advanced proficiency in Java programming.

• Robust knowledge of Linux environments, networking, virtual machines, and container technologies (e.g., Docker) along with CI/CD solutions such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle, including production operations, monitoring, alerting, and participating in an on-call rotation for the services you develop.

• A proactive problem-solver who can independently identify, define, and advance projects with minimal oversight.

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in large-scale, distributed cloud environments.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across various locations.
