This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Establish the comprehensive cloud architecture, ensuring a secure and modular platform that delivers impeccable performance.
• Oversee the deployment of event-driven, serverless, and containerized services utilizing leading cloud providers such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Design and uphold infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies with tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, ensuring scalable and repeatable deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software engineers, interoperability teams, and security professionals to enhance microservices, APIs, and IAM protocols.
• Influence architectural choices that comply with regulatory standards including HIPAA, GDPR, CLIA, and FDA/IVDR.
• Execute monitoring, cost optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to guarantee smooth operations.
• Mentor and support engineering teams, engage in design reviews, and aid in the long-term planning of the platform.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of extensive experience in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, or enterprise technology environments.
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in cloud-native application architecture and deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, with a robust understanding of networking, identity management, containerization, and serverless infrastructure.
• Practical experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare or diagnostics is advantageous.
• Excellent collaboration, documentation, and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Must be able to successfully complete a thorough background check, which includes drug screening.
