Senior Sportsbook Trader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Spearhead live trading execution for major sports, leagues, or critical events.

• Ensure the accuracy of pricing, market integrity, and prompt response times.

• Oversee and enhance market suspensions.

• Manage re-opening timings.

• Compare pricing against market benchmarks.

• Evaluate performance across events (hold, competitiveness, volatility).

• Detect inefficiencies in templates, pricing flows, and tooling or automation.

• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior traders.

• Assist in the development of live trading Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and frameworks.

• Collaborate with Risk to manage real-time exposure and player behavior.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in assessing and calculating risk.

• Flexibility is essential, as working hours will be determined by business requirements. Candidates must be available for flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Strong experience in sports betting and/or trading is highly preferred.

• Passionate about data, with a meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make prompt decisions.

• Outstanding time management capabilities.

• Extensive knowledge of sports betting and a genuine interest in betting and odds is considered an advantage.
