This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding demand generation
• Implement marketing strategies and promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager
• Offer up-to-date and thorough clinical knowledge of Amgen products
• Articulate the clinical and economic advantages of products
• Attain territory sales goals by executing marketing strategies outlined in the Plan of Action
• Convey branded sales messages effectively
• Carry out scheduled programs
• Organize and follow up on medical educational initiatives
• Meet or surpass sales objectives
• Manage and service accounts effectively
• Ensure product accessibility
• Address or triage reimbursement challenges
• Maintain product contracts appropriately
• Provide insights on marketing strategies and conduct effectiveness reviews of sales activities and territory assessments
• Collaborate with the District Manager to develop territory plans
• Bachelor’s degree coupled with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in the healthcare/scientific field unrelated to sales, OR an associate degree with 6 years of such experience, OR a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of such experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
• Over 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sectors
• Highly preferred: Experience in product or hospital sales in cardiovascular, oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, or inflammation
• Highly preferred: Specialty experience in neurology, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases
• Familiarity with local market dynamics
• Strong planning and organizational skills
