This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the main point of contact for Amgen products in the Dallas South region.
• Deliver clinical product expertise to healthcare professionals and assist them in navigating the payer landscape.
• Execute marketing strategies and promote Amgen products as instructed by the District Manager.
• Convey branded sales messages and implement scheduled programs.
• Organize and follow up on medical educational initiatives.
• Meet or surpass territory sales objectives through both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Develop, service, and oversee customer accounts.
• Tailor customer conversations to align with specific needs.
• Ensure product accessibility and address or manage reimbursement challenges.
• Maintain product contracts effectively.
• Offer insights on marketing strategies and assess business efficiency and territory operations.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to create territory plans.
• Work with colleagues to exchange best practices and foster learning and growth.
• Maintain enthusiasm for the product throughout the sales process and enhance the Amgen brand.
• Adhere to Amgen's values and standards for quality, ethics, teamwork, collaboration, communication, and accountability.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field unrelated to sales; OR an associate degree coupled with 6 years of such experience; OR a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or clinical roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device, or medical supply sectors preferred.
• Experience in product or hospital sales in a specified specialty area, such as bone health, is preferred.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building abilities geared towards achieving sales outcomes are preferred.
• Familiarity with the local market is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration is preferred.
• Flexibility with sales planning and organizing, industry/technical knowledge, impactful communication, results-driven actions, and nurturing internal and external relationships is preferred.
• Capability to impart clinical product knowledge to medical professionals.
