Senior Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, select, and onboard suppliers.

• Collaborate across departments in the new product development process to collect requirements, issue and negotiate RFPs/RFQs, and pinpoint the best suppliers.

• Lead negotiations for supply agreements to secure optimal terms while minimizing risk; identify and resolve contract non-compliance issues; enter and manage contracts within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.

• Create and execute a framework for supplier engagement and pricing, ensuring that the Purchasing team has a clear and documented process for executing tactical purchase orders.

• Cultivate strong partnerships with strategic national brand, private-label, and contract manufacturing suppliers.

• Establish and manage a comprehensive supplier management program to evaluate supply performance. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve both situational and systemic performance challenges.

• Utilize data and analytics to pinpoint and capitalize on cost reduction opportunities across the product portfolio.

• Formulate strategies for sourcing and managing raw materials and components to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.

• Stay informed about market trends, commodity pricing, and global economic conditions, adjusting sourcing strategies as necessary. Maintain contract pricing in the NetSuite ERP system.

• Monitor and report on Sourcing KPIs; collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement performance improvement opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a sourcing role supporting both internally manufactured and externally procured finished goods; experience in a high-SKU distribution environment is preferred.

• Required international sourcing experience.

• Experience in medical products distribution is an advantage.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is required.
