This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Implement and provide support for audio systems and functionalities within Unreal Engine.
• Assist in creating and sustaining tools and workflows for sound designers.
• Collaborate with senior team members to integrate and support audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
• Aid in the implementation and optimization of runtime audio behaviors, mixing, and spatialization.
• Work in close partnership with Sound Designers to integrate, debug, and refine audio content in the game.
• Connect gameplay systems, animation, UI, and other features with audio systems under supervision.
• Troubleshoot and rectify audio-related issues throughout the development process.
• Ensure that implemented features align with performance and technical specifications.
• Contribute to documentation and adhere to established technical standards.
• Collaborate with the team to identify challenges and suggest enhancements.
• 2–4 years of professional experience as an Audio Programmer or in a similar capacity.
• Experience in game development projects (AAA experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Practical experience with Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
• Basic understanding of real-time audio systems and interactive audio principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Perforce, Git, etc.).
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and learning abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (Audio, Design, Engineering, QA).
• Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
