Senior Solutions Engineer, Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a team of Solutions Engineers, a Project Manager, and a Product Owner

• Develop high-quality features and solutions in Salesforce for our clients, ensuring timely delivery and long-term sustainability

• Design innovative solutions to enhance clients' impact and operational efficiency

• Provide training to client personnel on the Salesforce functionalities you create, both in-person and virtually

• Document comprehensive business, functional, and technical specifications

• Integrate Salesforce with various third-party applications, including email marketing platforms, LLMs, online forms, and payment gateways

• Discover and implement new methods for clients to leverage agentic technology

• Manage data, including migration and cleanup/manipulation, in collaboration with your team

• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues within client instances

• Offer extensive technical expertise and configuration support for Nonprofit Cloud and NPSP

• Improve the quality of systems and data through efficient design, maintenance, and security practices

• Review colleagues' work to ensure compliance with OpenTent technical standards

• Advance your personal and professional growth by continuously learning about the software we utilize, the nonprofit sector, and your own development

• Oversee and maintain managed package integration between Salesforce and AmiliaSmartRec

• Develop new features and enhancements for managed package integration

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in configuring Salesforce (NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud)

• At least 1 year of experience working with nonprofits, whether professionally or as a volunteer

• A minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Developer experience, specifically in Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript

• Salesforce Admin certification, Nonprofit Cloud certification, Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (additional Salesforce certifications are advantageous)

• Significant hands-on experience with agentic coding tools, ideally involving both Salesforce metadata and external platforms

• Willingness and enthusiasm to travel occasionally to client locations or to meet with colleagues

• Willingness and enthusiasm to work from our offices in Denver or Brooklyn, or remotely through regular video conferencing
