
Senior Solutions Engineer, Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with a team of Solutions Engineers, a Project Manager, and a Product Owner
β’ Develop high-quality features and solutions in Salesforce for our clients, ensuring timely delivery and long-term sustainability
β’ Design innovative solutions to enhance clients' impact and operational efficiency
β’ Provide training to client personnel on the Salesforce functionalities you create, both in-person and virtually
β’ Document comprehensive business, functional, and technical specifications
β’ Integrate Salesforce with various third-party applications, including email marketing platforms, LLMs, online forms, and payment gateways
β’ Discover and implement new methods for clients to leverage agentic technology
β’ Manage data, including migration and cleanup/manipulation, in collaboration with your team
β’ Diagnose and resolve intricate issues within client instances
β’ Offer extensive technical expertise and configuration support for Nonprofit Cloud and NPSP
β’ Improve the quality of systems and data through efficient design, maintenance, and security practices
β’ Review colleagues' work to ensure compliance with OpenTent technical standards
β’ Advance your personal and professional growth by continuously learning about the software we utilize, the nonprofit sector, and your own development
β’ Oversee and maintain managed package integration between Salesforce and AmiliaSmartRec
β’ Develop new features and enhancements for managed package integration
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in configuring Salesforce (NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud)
β’ At least 1 year of experience working with nonprofits, whether professionally or as a volunteer
β’ A minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Developer experience, specifically in Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript
β’ Salesforce Admin certification, Nonprofit Cloud certification, Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (additional Salesforce certifications are advantageous)
β’ Significant hands-on experience with agentic coding tools, ideally involving both Salesforce metadata and external platforms
β’ Willingness and enthusiasm to travel occasionally to client locations or to meet with colleagues
β’ Willingness and enthusiasm to work from our offices in Denver or Brooklyn, or remotely through regular video conferencing
