This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and expand a solutions engineering team to enhance sales and customer success.
• Create role definitions and a coverage strategy (segments, regions, product lines).
• Implement a systematic approach for technical discovery and solution design.
• Establish clear engagement models, define roles and responsibilities, and set success metrics.
• Manage executive relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring accountability for: commercial outcomes (deal support, win rates, cycle time reduction, revenue impact); technical excellence (solution accuracy, implementation readiness, customer satisfaction, escalations, continuous improvement); alignment with product vision (AI integration, roadmap contributions, standardization).
• Contribute to a structured solutions engineering training and competency program.
• Define levels, requirements, and maintenance standards (training, assessments, quality metrics).
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture to formalize technical standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Ensure that competencies are assessable, verifiable, and scalable.
• Participate in the operational processes to manage and grow solutions engineering.
• Conduct business and performance reviews with Sales and key stakeholders.
• Establish clear escalation procedures and document incident learnings.
• Provide reporting on team health, coverage, and capability gaps.
• Assist in defining product lines and go-to-market strategies for Remote build.
• Develop ADRs and PRDs for prospective products.
• Identify and abstract solution domains.
• Prioritize AI in all initiatives.
• Design and implement AI agent workflows.
• Transform business processes into agent-enabled workflows (intake, orchestration, guardrails, evaluation).
• Prototype using modern LLM tools and refine towards production-ready implementations.
• Create human-in-the-loop patterns, escalation procedures, and observability metrics (quality, cost, latency).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deliver secure and reliable agent capabilities (APIs, permissions, data access).
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing a solutions engineering (or similar) function, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance oversight.
• Strong skills in managing executive stakeholders (both internal and external), with a proven history of achieving results through influence.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and operational discipline: adept at converting vague objectives into systematic processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert technical details into executive-level presentations.
• Practical experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI agent workflows (or similar automation/orchestration systems), with a focus on safety, evaluation, and iterative improvement.
• Experience in the HRTech, payroll, HCM, or related sectors.
