Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales Teams and potential clients during their assessment and integration of Algolia solutions.

• Comprehend and validate customer objectives using KPIs, clearly articulating how Algolia can fulfill them.

• Support the Sales process through discovery, demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses, and business justification.

• Create tailored search applications utilizing the tools, frameworks, and partnerships within the Algolia ecosystem.

• Capture and promote customer interests, needs, and product feedback to relay to the Product and Engineering teams.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills and stay informed on industry trends in the Search and Discovery domain, contributing to thought leadership to increase Algolia's accessibility.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams for a smooth transition to the post-sales process, ensuring successful onboarding experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), preferably within the SaaS industry.

• Prior software development experience in one or more of the following domains:

• Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React,

• Back-End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.

• Familiarity with data formats and data transformation processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple customers and adept at quickly shifting focus between various competing demands while maintaining attention to detail.

• Experience in the search, ecommerce, or martech industries.

• Background working at a comparable stage and beyond ($150-300M+ ARR range, high growth, significant change, and building internal infrastructure).
