This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with the Payroll Sales team to design and implement go-to-market strategies that enhance adoption and increase market share for Remote’s Global Payroll solution.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Global Payroll services, keeping up-to-date with Remote product features and industry advancements to offer clients and internal stakeholders strategic guidance and best practices.
• Articulate the value of Remote’s Global Payroll offering through tailored demonstrations, proposals, and presentations that meet client needs.
• Collaborate with essential internal stakeholders to create and improve sales materials, solution playbooks, and objection-handling tools specifically for the Global Payroll buyer journey.
• Identify and convert critical client business needs into a clear, actionable scope of work for the Implementation team.
• Assist in educating the Solutions Consulting and Sales teams on the technical aspects, services, and value proposition of the Global Payroll solution to facilitate more efficient sales cycles with prospective clients.
• Offer insightful, market-driven feedback to our Product teams to ensure our Global Payroll solutions effectively meet customer needs and align with industry trends.
• Profound understanding of payroll service models, including multi-country and multi-state payroll processing, compliance requirements, tax filings, wage and hour regulations, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Proven experience in consulting on global payroll processes, demonstrating the ability to apply consultative techniques to identify client needs, build strong relationships, and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Strong sales aptitude with a solid grasp of sales processes and cycles, preferably in a SaaS or tech-enabled service environment.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills—capable of simplifying and explaining complex payroll concepts in a manner that resonates with both HR and executive audiences.
• Strong technical skills with the capability to quickly learn, demonstrate, and analyze software solutions.
• A collaborative team player, able to work across functions and foster cooperation in a distributed team setting.
• Comfortable managing various priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Ideally, a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional certifications such as FPC, CPP, or relevant HR/payroll credentials (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are highly advantageous.
• Knowledge or familiarity with competitive payroll products and the payroll industry landscape is considered a significant advantage.
• Knowledge or familiarity with PEO service models is also seen as a strong plus.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
