Senior Solutions Architect – Strat Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executive(s) to develop strategies for customer engagement in your assigned territory.

• Mentor junior Solutions Architects and teams on prioritization of use cases and fostering technical champions.

• Engage stakeholders at all levels through intricate interactions with the broader cloud ecosystem and third-party applications, instilling enthusiasm for the Databricks vision and solution strategy.

• Act as a 'champion' for customers and colleagues alike, serving as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor in significant data analytics architecture, design, and the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

• Enhance Databricks' technical community involvement by creating customer-facing materials and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

• Opportunity to further develop in one of four areas: technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles.

• Proficient in engaging in complex customer interactions and navigating the sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales context.

• Capable of influencing decision-makers and C-level executives by building relationships and coordinating teams to ensure long-term customer success.

• Previous experience in coding with a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and a willingness to learn the fundamentals of Spark.

• Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.

• Skilled in providing technical solutions tailored to specialized customer needs and adept at navigating a competitive landscape.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% when necessary.
