This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee technical implementations and promote the utilization of Chainguard images, assisting customers in securely building with open-source software throughout their organization.
• Collaborate with the account team (AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support) to grasp customer vision, challenges, and proposed solutions, facilitating account-level strategies, value realization, and customer retention/growth.
• Ensure the highest quality of Chainguard Images by acting as “customer zero” – conducting testing, documentation, and guaranteeing a seamless onboarding experience for customers.
• Work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and establish the appropriate prioritization for image builds.
• Maintain suitable account-level architecture and disseminate best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
• Embrace teamwork – collaborate, educate, and learn from the Chainguard team.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role supporting clients.
• Over 8 years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications, with robust expertise in Kubernetes and Containers.
• Capable of conveying technical information in both highly technical and non-technical formats, tailored to various audiences, including engineers and executives.
• A continuous learner with a strong intellectual drive for excellence and a desire to create solutions for complex challenges.
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Significant experience with software development processes, practices, and software engineering design principles.
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
