Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and prototype CI/CD workflow solutions that facilitate application security throughout software delivery pipelines and development environments, scalable for enterprise use.

• Conduct comprehensive discovery workshops and architecture design sessions to ensure Snyk's platform aligns with customer needs, covering both pre-sales and post-sales activities.

• Develop and present technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate and convey the value of Snyk to clients and executive stakeholders.

• Utilize AI and machine learning to improve integration precision, automate configurations, enable real-time security monitoring, and provide intelligent troubleshooting for clients.

• Establish strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customer organizations, empowering them to become enthusiastic advocates for Snyk.

• Contribute to publications aimed at customers, create reference architectures, and share market insights and competitive intelligence with the wider technical community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical consulting or software implementation, with a demonstrated history of architecting and delivering cloud solutions for enterprise clients.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to produce high-quality documentation and present to executive-level stakeholders.

• Proficient in coding with Shell, Python, or JavaScript, along with practical knowledge of git-based SCM tools and CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Strong understanding of software development, SDLC, and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies.

• Expertise in Unix/Linux command line, with experience in scoping and documenting business and functional requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or IT Security — or equivalent experience.
