Senior Solutions Architect – AI Natives Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Define the future of the big data ecosystem by working closely with customers, product teams, and the wider customer-facing team.

• Design architectures and solutions utilizing the Databricks platform and its APIs.

• Assist customers in navigating the competitive landscape, sharing best practices, and guiding implementation processes.

• Offer technical leadership to aid customers in understanding how Databricks can address their business challenges.

• Consult on Big Data architectures and confirm integrations with cloud services, in-house tools, and other third-party applications.

• Work collaboratively with other Solutions Architects to provide mutual support and assistance to users.

• Become proficient in and advocate for Databricks-inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or a comparable pre-sales/consulting position.

• Proven experience in constructing distributed data systems.

• Proficient in programming and debugging using Python and SQL.

• Experience in creating solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong knowledge of Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) or Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow).

• Willingness to travel to meet customers in your area.

• [Preferred] Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).

• Additional: Databricks Certification is a plus.
