This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement a pre-sales framework to engage with customers, prospects, and partners through virtual and in-person meetings, facilitate the discovery process, conduct product demonstrations, and pinpoint areas where Workiva solutions can meet customer/prospect requirements.
• Exhibit proficiency in Workiva's Financial Reporting solutions by acquiring a practical understanding of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can make a significant impact.
• Convert the specific demands of the Financial Services sector into Workiva solutions.
• Support sales in formulating account plans that align with Workiva's strategies and objectives.
• Perform process evaluations with customers, create Proof of Concepts to confirm requirements, and develop and present business cases tailored to partners.
• Ensure customer success by collaborating with implementation partners and the Workiva Client Services team for a seamless onboarding experience and long-term achievement.
• Aid in the creation of new use cases or utilize existing templates to demonstrate our solution's impact and value proposition.
• May start providing cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to fulfill team and company objectives.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years with a Master’s degree; or 2 years with a PhD.
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is advantageous and critical for success in this position.
• Candidates should possess existing expertise in banking, insurance, or asset management, or show a strong willingness and ability to quickly develop deep domain knowledge in financial services workflows, regulations, and applications.
• Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives.
• Background in actuarial reporting within an insurance company.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Self-driven with a strong inclination towards action, results, and continuous enhancement.
• Proven experience in constructing processes from inception, including design, proposal, and cross-functional alignment.
• Exhibits proactive collaboration and provides feedback to product management teams to capture new customer needs and enhancements, may require guidance when necessary.
• Ability to resolve issues and convey solutions to business challenges with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Practical technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures is preferred.
• Familiarity with high-level technical elements of connectivity and integration (API).
• Ability to gather business requirements and deliver a value-based, compelling software demonstration is preferred.
• On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 156,000.00 - 253,000.00 USD Annual.
• Eligibility for commission based on sales performance.
• Restricted Stock Units granted at the time of hire.
