Senior Solution Advisory Consultant – Financial Performance Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Solution Advisory Consultant (m/f/d) on the DACH team, you will serve as a key specialist connecting our clients with the Jedox platform.

• Your primary focus will be on Financial Consolidation, Group Reporting, and Disclosure, along with traditional FP&A topics.

• By closely collaborating with the Sales team, you will guide clients from the initial contact through to contract finalization, positioning Jedox as a strategic and comprehensive finance platform.

• In this position, you will assist finance and controlling organizations in understanding their operational challenges and crafting future-oriented solutions.

• You will integrate consolidation and planning needs, translate intricate finance processes into compelling use cases, and deliver substantial value to our clients.

• With firsthand insight into financial challenges, you will analyze requirements from finance and controlling teams, particularly in financial consolidation, group reporting, and disclosure, aligning them with the Jedox platform.

• You will connect Financial Consolidation and FP&A in a holistic manner, illustrating the advantages of an integrated platform by linking consolidation, reporting, and planning processes.

• You will present Jedox effectively by conducting client meetings, demos, webinars, and event presentations tailored to various audiences, from controllers to CFOs.

• You will make use cases tangible by guiding customers through common financial scenarios such as consolidation, planning, and reporting, establishing Jedox as a strategic solution.

• You will assess and classify requirements, providing initial feasibility and effort estimates in close collaboration with the consulting team.

• You will develop prototypes and POCs, designing and presenting solutions that cater to both consolidation and planning needs.

• You will support sales processes throughout the entire cycle by providing expert technical assistance.

• You will facilitate workshops by planning, conducting, and moderating sessions to capture requirements and define solutions.

• You will collaborate across functions, working closely with sales, consulting, and product management to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in finance/controlling, ideally with experience in financial consolidation, group reporting, or disclosure.

• Alternatively, several years of experience in presales/solution advisory with a robust finance focus.

• Ability to communicate confidently with CFOs, Heads of Group Accounting, or heads of controlling.

• Experience with financial consolidation processes (e.g., from implementation projects or company perspective) is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Solid understanding of FP&A processes and their interaction with consolidation and reporting.

• Experience with EPM or financial systems such as Jedox, Anaplan, Board, SAP, LucaNet, OneStream, or similar.

• Comfortable delivering customer presentations, workshops, and demos.

• Structured and detail-oriented working style with communication tailored to the audience.

• Fluent in German and English with excellent market knowledge of the DACH region.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time and a passion for teamwork.
