This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of the financial strategy for Mexico, including the annual budget, quarterly revisions, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning across all business sectors.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that link financial results to operational activities.
• Create scalable reporting systems and dashboards that provide country and company leadership with real-time insights into business performance and potential risks.
• Assess trends in portfolio, credit, and customer performance to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing unit economics, growth, and risk management.
• Assist with capital markets initiatives and strategic transactions as required.
• Tackle complex, high-priority challenges — establish a clear perspective and drive execution to resolution.
• Set strategic priorities: Perform market research, competitive assessments, and data analyses to guide strategic direction for Tilt Mexico.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives that enhance quality, reduce operational friction, and boost scalability within the Mexico business.
• Promote standardization and help define best practices that can be utilized across other business units (markets).
• Collaborate with functional leaders in Product, Credit, Marketing, Operations, and Capital Markets to identify bottlenecks, enhance performance, launch new offerings, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Spot opportunities to automate workflows, refine decision-making, and enhance team efficiency through AI and other tech-enabled solutions.
• 4–6+ years of experience in strategic finance, business operations, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other analytically intensive roles.
• Strong financial modeling abilities: forecasting, scenario planning, and ideally cohort/vintage-based credit modeling.
• Well-acquainted with customer unit economics, including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and other pertinent metrics.
• Proven track record of structuring ambiguous challenges and driving execution with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable transitioning between detailed modeling and high-level leadership recommendations within the same discussion.
• Proficient with analytics tools; skilled in SQL or committed to developing it; familiar with AI tools and genuinely interested in their operational applications.
• Strong sense of ownership and comfort with uncertainty; capable of independently formulating and testing clear hypotheses and solving problems without well-defined guidance.
• Excellent business judgment and ability to make decisions based on incomplete information.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, including the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and effectively explain complex topics to non-technical colleagues and partners.
• Virtual-first teamwork: The Tilt team collaborates across 14 countries, 12 time zones, and counting. You’ll start with a reimbursement for your work-from-home office setup.
• Competitive pay: We value potential, reflected in our competitive compensation packages and generous equity offerings.
• Comprehensive support: Access flexible health plans at all premium levels, along with substantial subsidies that meet global standards.
• Clear visibility: You can expect direct interaction with our leadership team — we’re an organization where good ideas are quickly recognized.
• Paid global gatherings: Real connections happen in-person: we meet twice a year for shared meals or kayaking adventures. (Past locations include Vail, San Diego, and Mexico City, among others.)
• Recognition of impact: Growth opportunities are linked to your contributions, not rigid promotion schedules.
