Senior Softwareentwickler – Java, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will enhance our backend systems developed in Java and Kotlin and optimize a successful business application.

• You are jointly responsible for the software architecture of our backend systems.

• Technical conception: You will make core technical decisions for the system landscape and have the ability to technically design new services.

• Management: You will oversee the build and deployment processes of the applications and handle the integration of additional tools.

• Quality assurance & testing: You will conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of code and design.

• Knowledge transfer: You will be the go-to person in the team for technical questions and be able to share your knowledge.

• You will work in an agile team on software products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed training as an IT specialist or a successfully completed degree in the IT field, such as applied computer science or a comparable qualification.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of backend systems for web-based software.

• Solid Linux knowledge.

• You are fluent in Kotlin and/or Java and have a deep understanding of the Java Virtual Machine.

• Knowledge of various design patterns and their application.

• A high degree of reliability and a sense of responsibility.

• You are communicative and value social interaction within the team.
