Senior Software Quality Engineer – AI Automation Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of designing and executing WISEcode’s automated quality engineering ecosystem.

• Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks specifically for ASP.NET.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools and automation to boost engineering productivity and enhance testing coverage.

• Create dependable end-to-end UI automation for complex interactive workflows.

• Establish infrastructure for API, integration, and regression testing.

• Elevate release confidence through smart automation and observability practices.

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure systems are designed with testability in mind from the outset.

• Set quality standards, establish patterns, and promote engineering discipline across teams.

• Design and implement AI-enhanced UI testing frameworks for ASP.NET.

• Construct end-to-end testing infrastructure utilizing Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.

• Create API and integration test suites for ASP.NET services.

• Develop reusable testing abstractions and patterns that can be scaled across teams.

• Enhance release confidence via regression automation, validation pipelines, and AI-driven anomaly detection.

• Build automated validation processes surrounding nutrition and food intelligence computations, including AI/ML outputs.

• Improve application testability and observability aspects.

• Seamlessly integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows and manage failures and flaky tests effectively.

• Define quality metrics, enhance failure visibility, and establish release readiness criteria.

• Investigate intermittent failures, race conditions, state management challenges, and environmental inconsistencies.

• Contribute to strategies for performance, reliability, and scalability testing.

• Broadly apply AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity, testing coverage, and speed of iteration.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in professional software engineering or software quality engineering.

• Proven experience in building automated UI testing frameworks.

• Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.

• Experience in testing APIs and distributed application workflows.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment validation processes.

• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly Postgres.

• Capability to reason across UI, API, database, and infrastructure domains.

• Excellent debugging and systems-thinking abilities.

• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.

• Strong engineering judgment coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with Blazor-specific testing methodologies and tools.

• Strong coding skills in C#.

• Background in performance or load testing.

• Experience validating workflows that involve AI assistance or ML integration.

• Knowledge of observability tools and production diagnostics.

• Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience in constructing internal developer tools or quality platforms.

• Background with large-scale enterprise applications or data-intensive systems.

• Exposure to modern AI-assisted engineering workflows.

• Extensive hands-on experience in testing ASP.NET applications.

• Experience testing ASP.NET Blazor applications or other highly stateful SPA frameworks.
