Medical Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Review prescriptions to verify their accuracy.

• Forward prescriptions to the pharmacy for processing.

• Examine Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure all required information is documented.

• Assess lab orders to confirm that all are completed and documented.

• Engage in daily communication with contracted pharmacies.

• Respond promptly and effectively to rectify any errors.

• Perform audits on schedules.

• Conduct audits of prescriptions.

• Manage medication recalls appropriately.

• Ensure proper handling of payments.

• Manage a substantial volume of charts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Florida to qualify.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

• Required: Experience with Electronic Health Records.

• Required: Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records.

• Required: Proficiency in computer processing.

• Strong communication skills.

• Effective problem-solving abilities.

• Background in Medicine/Pharmacology.

• Must be available Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
