Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Implement automated solutions for software processes.

• Strategically plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor testing activities.

• Provide support to clients, developers, and testers.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for the testing team as required.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancing quality within software processes.

• Design and carry out QA testing.

• Conduct tests for databases, systems, networks, applications, hardware, and software.

• Detect bugs and quality issues in development, services, or business operations.

• Work collaboratively with other business units to comprehend quality requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management is required, or four years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance.

• A professional background in systems or programming.

• Proficiency in database technologies and SQL is essential.

• Experience with automated testing, including the planning and execution of functional and performance testing, is preferred.

• Familiarity with Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Experience with Epic Tapestry and Cheers is preferred.

• Certifications in software quality or a technical equivalent are preferred.
