Intern - QA PhAST

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business and technical requirements to determine appropriate test scenarios;

• Assist in the development and upkeep of both manual and automated test plans/scripts;

• Engage in the development of test scripts;

• Verify, document, and communicate any bugs or inconsistencies identified during testing;

• Guarantee the quality of software releases, with an emphasis on preventing errors;

• Learn and implement best practices for test automation;

• Maintain up-to-date test automation documentation and code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related area;

• Strong programming logic and problem-solving abilities;

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in JavaScript and Java (object-oriented programming);

• Foundational knowledge of databases and SQL (SELECT, JOIN, INSERT);

• Basic understanding of agile methodologies;

• Familiarity with REST APIs and a grasp of the HTTP protocol (verbs GET, POST, PUT, DELETE; status codes; headers; JSON payloads).
