Senior Software QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete bug lifecycle, from initial triage to root cause analysis and validation.

• Analyze production issues by reviewing application logs, databases, and backend systems to pinpoint the source of defects.

• Collaborate closely with developers by providing detailed reproduction steps, technical insights, and actionable recommendations.

• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers early in the development phase to identify potential risks and edge cases before development commences.

• Design, implement, and continuously enhance automated integration testing frameworks and quality assurance processes.

• Establish testing standards and quality gates to ensure dependable software releases.

• Conduct tests on RESTful APIs and validate application data using SQL queries.

• Develop comprehensive test plans, testing documentation, and reusable QA resources.

• Promote a culture where software quality is regarded as a shared responsibility throughout the engineering organization.

• Guarantee that testing practices comply with security and privacy standards for sensitive healthcare data.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering with a strong emphasis on integration and system-level testing.

• Excellent debugging and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capabilities.

• Proficient in reading application code and investigating issues in backend systems (experience with Python/Django is preferred).

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Demonstrated experience in building automated testing frameworks using tools such as PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.

• Strong grasp of contemporary QA methodologies, including Shift-Left Testing.

• Experience in testing RESTful APIs.

• Capability to write SQL queries for application data validation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Advanced English communication skills.
