Senior Software Engineer, Writing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop full-stack features that have a quantifiable impact on the product.

• Deliver thorough code reviews and provide architectural insights rather than just approvals.

• Act as the primary responder to production issues during working hours, handling triage, identifying root causes, and suggesting preventive measures.

• Enhance the engineering practices of the team over time by refining tools, workflows, technical standards, and maintaining documentation in relevant locations.

• Convert product requirements into a technical strategy and effectively communicate the rationale behind it.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production web applications, demonstrating a strong full-stack capability (including modern React/TypeScript frontends and a typed or Pythonic backend).

• Proven history of managing complex problems from inception to resolution, delivering results with measurable impact.

• Significant experience in code reviews, exemplified by the ability to identify architectural flaws.

• Regular daily use of AI coding tools (such as Claude Code or similar), with a clear understanding of their benefits, drawbacks, and methods for ensuring their output is reviewable.

• Proficiency in debugging production issues across the entire stack, including traces, logs, and profiling, as well as tackling less glamorous tasks.

• Excellent asynchronous written communication skills: crafting clear pull request descriptions, effective Slack messages, and precise specifications.
