Content Writer – Biology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Create captivating educational materials, including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons.

• Transform curriculum documents into straightforward, actionable course and lesson plans that aid teachers and promote student achievement.

• Utilize your Biology expertise to simplify complex syllabus topics, producing content that is accessible and tailored for students.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of subject matter and evidence-based teaching methodologies.

• Adhere to a comprehensive style guide to ensure content is uniform and appropriate for our audience.

• Balance multiple projects, manage your time effectively, and meet stringent deadlines.

• Collaborate closely with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and others to produce content that is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand.

• Contribute ideas and enhance our processes through feedback, workshops, and team discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of secondary school Biology (HSC or VCE experience is essential).

• Strong ability to deliver content that is effective for students.

• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, enabling you to clarify complex concepts.

• A genuine enthusiasm for education and instructional design.

• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with others and articulating your thoughts clearly.

• Confidence in using project management tools (or a willingness to learn).

• Proven success in Biology, whether as a teacher or a student.

• Teaching or tutoring experience is advantageous.

• Interest in learning design is beneficial, but we will provide training if you are new to it.
