Senior Software Engineer – Trusted Profile Analyzer Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test innovative product features.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and vulnerabilities.

• Take ownership of the quality of our products, engage in peer code reviews and continuous integration (CI), and address security threats.

• Collaborate with Quality Engineering (QE) team members to ensure projects are rigorously tested according to the testing strategy, meeting the release readiness criteria.

• Actively engage with partner teams, including Engineering, Quality Engineering (QE), Documentation, Product Management, Support, Product Security, Software Productization, and UXD, to enhance our products, processes, and customer experiences.

• Work alongside Red Hat's Global Customer Support team and partner support teams to resolve customer issues.

• Develop expertise in Secure Supply Chain, focusing on Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and vulnerability management.

• Assist in the management of internal RHTPA services via Site Reliability Engineering.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at energizing and building a community around upstream projects.

• Promote the team's achievements through blogs, web postings, or conference presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in application development using Rust.

• Familiarity with recent advancements in AI within software engineering, including AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor), MCP, and AI automation workflows.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.

• Experience working within a container ecosystem such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift.

• Self-motivated with the ability to make strategic recommendations and influence product direction.

• Proven track record in leading initiatives and mentoring team members.

• Comfortable managing complex projects independently with minimal oversight.
