Senior Software Engineer – Transition into Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain contemporary data pipelines and data platform solutions.

• Manage both structured and semi-structured data within scalable cloud environments.

• Collaborate effectively with engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Assist in ensuring that data is dependable, scalable, and prepared for analytics and business use.

• Implement software engineering best practices in data-centric solutions.

• Contribute to initiatives that facilitate reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development, preferably in backend or full-stack roles using Python or another backend-focused programming language.

• Solid understanding of SQL.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms or contemporary data ecosystems.

• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, or data-related workflows.

• Experience with concepts such as ETL/ELT, orchestration, or large-scale data processing.
