Senior Software Engineer – Tech Lead, .NET / C#

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the application and integration architecture for a new web-based product.

• Take ownership of core backend and API components utilizing .NET / C#.

• Establish technical standards to ensure implementations are scalable and maintainable.

• Advise on architectural choices while considering security, data protection, and compliance with regulations.

• Engage hands-on in development and serve as a technical role model.

• Lead and mentor engineers through reviews, coaching, and critical technical decisions.

• Facilitate the responsible and effective use of AI-assisted development tools.

• Collaborate closely with product management and adjacent teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in backend or fullstack software development using .NET / C#.

• Extensive experience in designing APIs and working with modular or distributed system architectures.

• A strong architectural mindset with the capability to make technical decisions focused on long-term scalability and maintainability.

• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and guiding teams through complex decision-making processes.

• A passion for hands-on work while taking responsibility for critical or foundational system components.

• Knowledge of security, data protection, and regulatory requirements, along with their incorporation into technical decisions.

• Practical experience with AI-supported development tools and an understanding of their advantages, limitations, and risks.

• Proficient communication skills in English (C1 level); knowledge of German is a plus.
