This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Taking complete responsibility for features β from refinement and design to development, testing, and deployment to production.
β’ Developing and sustaining modern, scalable microservices in C# and .NET (8+) operating on Azure Kubernetes Service.
β’ Contributing throughout the stack β backend services, Angular UI, test automation, CI/CD pipelines β wherever assistance is needed.
β’ Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code while maintaining high standards during code reviews.
β’ Creating and executing test cases, engaging in functional testing, and managing test plans using Azure DevOps.
β’ Collaborating in 2-week sprints with a globally distributed team β taking part in refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
β’ Instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry and utilizing Datadog to monitor the health of the services you deliver.
β’ Participating in on-call rotation as a primary responder for our services and the Kubernetes infrastructure that supports them β we manage the full stack, not just the application layer.
β’ Directly addressing customer escalations β investigating, communicating, and resolving issues without an intermediary between you and the customer impact.
β’ Utilizing AI coding tools to expedite development β we expect engineers to be proficient in AI-assisted workflows.
β’ Collaborating closely with architects, product managers, and colleagues across Panama, Hungary, and beyond.
β’ Extensive experience in C# and .NET (8+) with a focus on building production microservices at scale.
β’ Strong understanding of CQRS, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems (such as Azure Service Bus or similar).
β’ Practical experience with NoSQL databases β Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or similar.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD tools β Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
β’ Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies β Docker, Kubernetes, AKS.
β’ At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with substantial .NET microservices development.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
β’ Strong English communication skills β both written and verbal (our team operates globally).
β’ Self-motivated and comfortable working asynchronously across different time zones.
β’ Fully remote position.
