Senior Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails, Node.JS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop new features and enhancements for our products and services in a secure and well-tested manner, adhering to company guidelines.

• Create detailed technical documentation.

• Troubleshoot technical issues of moderate scope and complexity.

• Ensure code style, maintainability, and best practices are upheld.

• Provide mentorship to Junior Engineers on your team to help them enhance their technical skills and eliminate obstacles to their autonomy.

• Confidently launch moderately sized features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential: English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Over 6 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and NodeJS.

• Knowledge of PM2, Domain Driven Design, and Clean Architecture.

• Experience in event-driven development.

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.

• Exhibit critical, logical, and mathematical reasoning skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Must have access to personal computing equipment.

• Preferred: Previous experience working with GCP.

• Experience with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub.

• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures.
