Senior Software Engineer, RL Environment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop reproducible **software engineering environments** for evaluating AI models.

• Create coding assignments that include bug resolution, new feature implementation, refactoring, and enhancing performance.

• Produce accurate and maintainable **reference solutions** for each task assigned.

• Contribute high-quality production code to appropriate open-source projects.

• Design and optimize algorithms, libraries, and system components.

• Analyze and address bugs, technical limitations, and performance issues.

• Construct reliable automated tests to ensure expected outcomes of tasks.

• Assess code and offer clear, constructive technical feedback.

• Keep technical documentation updated for environments, solutions, and implementation choices.

• Work collaboratively with contributors and project stakeholders on technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven open-source contributions accessible via a public GitHub, GitLab, or similar profile.

• Extensive software engineering experience in at least one of the following: **C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or Rust**.

• Proficient in debugging, extending, or refactoring existing production-level codebases.

• Capability to establish reproducible development and testing environments.
