Senior Software Engineer, RestX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop software for autonomous restaurant operations and create innovative interaction models between operators and the system.

• Contribute to critical systems that significantly enhance guest experiences with our products, as well as the restaurant's revenue and reputation.

• Create systems in a domain characterized by dynamic real-time data loops with immediate customer feedback, directly influencing the Owner's revenue trajectory by substantially reducing support tickets and customer churn.

• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership across workflows that encompass ordering, kitchens, delivery, and fulfillment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of software engineering experience, with substantial involvement in delivering customer-facing product features.

• Familiarity with our frontend stack (React, Next.js) and/or backend stack (Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

• Proven experience in building systems from start to finish. Knowledge of workflow orchestration, automation systems, or AI agents is advantageous.

• A strong ability to collaborate across functions — past coworkers in product, design, and business would commend your contributions.

• A solid sense of ownership and motivation, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.
