Senior Software Engineer, Python, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Carry out investigations, explorations, or code experiments to enhance understanding and resolve technical challenges faced by the team within the project framework;

• Advocate for the application of software development best practices;

• Ensure high standards of technical excellence in the products they contribute to, maintaining both functional and non-functional quality;

• Be open to taking calculated risks to meet goals, while offering constructive feedback for the organization's development in a composed and reflective manner;

• Actively seek new knowledge and enhance technical skills in their field and the technologies utilized;

• Independently contribute to the collaborative creation of the project's solutions, aligning with the team's development methodology;

• Identify and communicate potential risks in the progression of project tasks based on established metrics, and help design strategies to mitigate them;

• Articulate and justify their technical choices based on sound code design principles, detailing the solutions implemented to clarify and resolve any uncertainties;

• Operate within an agile team environment, employing software best practices, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in full-stack web development using Python and React

• Familiarity with the major design patterns prevalent in the industry

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing REST APIs

• Proficient in using Git and CI/CD methodologies

• Experience in performing code reviews

• Background in writing automated tests for both back-end and front-end systems

• Experience working with ANSI SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)

• Understanding of key concepts related to AI in development (LLM models, Prompt and Context Engineering, Agents, RAG, etc.), along with familiarity with agentic tools like Copilot, Claude Code, Roo Code, and associated concepts (AGENTS.md, skills, commands, etc.)

• Intermediate to advanced English with strong verbal communication skills.
