Senior Software Engineer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Gather technical specifications and assist in both high-level and low-level design for software solutions utilizing AWS and Azure technologies.

• Develop production-quality Python and SQL code that adheres to rigorous standards for maintainability, security, and observability.

• Create and maintain intricate, microservice-oriented, event-driven systems.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to achieve high-quality results.

• Engage in on-call rotation and contribute to the upkeep of system health, performance, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software development.

• More than 4 years of experience in developing backend applications using Python.

• Proven experience in constructing complex, event-driven, microservice-based architectures.

• In-depth knowledge of production-grade system reliability, observability, and security protocols.

• Previous client-facing or consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
