Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in line with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, along with troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Actively collaborate with colleagues and communicate with Project Stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and predictability of project efforts.

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• A solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Preferred: Experience in Angular front-end development.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
